Lucía Álvarez “La Piñona”, Jimena de la Frontera (Cádiz) 1985.

She starts dancing at her 10 in several dance schools in Campo de Gibraltar. She moves to Granada where she continues developing her skills with Luis de Luis y Estela Arauzo.

A year later she decides to settle in Seville, where she currently lives,to study in Fundación de Arte Flamenco Cristina Heeren with instructors like Milagros Mengíbar, Rafael Campallo or Carmen Ledesma among others.

Besides, she keeps track of her training with instructors like Andrés Peña, Eva Yerbabuena, Rubén Olmo or Andrés Marín.

She is a regular performer in many tablaos flamencos as “El Arenal”, “Los Gallos” (Sevilla), “El Cordobés” & “El Carmen” (Barcelona), “Casa Patas”, “Corral de la Morería” & “Las Carboneras” and “Villarosa” in Madrid.

First prize “Trofeo Desplante” in 51 certamen de baile flamenco de la Unión, Cante de las Minas 2011.

Emovere” Premiere was on february 2018 during Festival Flamenco de Jerez de la Frontera.

She is also a regular participant of Esperanza Fernandez show “De lo jondo y verdadero”.

In february 2016 she participates as featured artist in Manuel Liñan’s Show “Reversible” in Jerez Villamarta Theatre during XX Festival Flamenco de Jerez de la Frontera.

She participates as first dancer in the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía show “Tierra-Lorca” during Generalife de Granada season 2016.

She participates performing her dance in Arcangel’s show “Tablao” during Granada Dance and Music Festival in 2016, among other appearances with him.

In april 2015 she releases the show “6Zapatos” with Soraya Clavijo and Mercedes de Córdoba in the cycle “Jueves Flamencos de Cajasol”, Sevilla.

La Vida, La Carne y La Tierra was released on march 2014 in Cánovas Theatre of Málaga, during the cycle: Flamenco Viene del Sur (Flamenco comes from the south).That same year she debuts as a single performer in Espacio Santa Clara and Teatro Central with the show “Una noche en el arenal”.

She releases her first solo performance “Un granito de arena” in Festival Flamenco de Jerez. February 2012.

She participates in flamenco festivals like “Jueves Flamencos de Cádiz” 2012, with artists like El Pele, Festival “Viernes Flamencos de Jerez” 2012 with Remedios Amaya, “Corral del Carbón” (Granada), Festival Flamenco de Tokyo with Olga Pericet and Farruquito. Mont de Marsan Flamenco Festival, Duseldorf Festival and Saint Tropez.

She also toured in places like Ecuador, Saint Petesbourg, Libano, London, Holland, Belgium and Kenya. In this last place she collaborated with the London Garden Opera with the show “Carmen”.
